Crawling for a Cause…2nd Annual Jr. Women’s Club Pub Crawl this Saturday!

What has three stops, about 200 legs, a few stumbles, lots of drinks, and even more laughs? It’s the Crown City Crawl, and it’s coming to Coronado this Saturday, April 28th. An afternoon and evening of drinks, appetizers and music, locals will embrace the small town feel and celebrate the giving spirit of the community.  The event kicks off the VFW at 3:30pm, then moves to Costa Azul and McPs.

I caught up with Megan Settle West from the Coronado Junior Women’s Club to talk about the event.

“This is our spring fundraiser for the Coronado Jr. Women’s Club so we are raising money…but it feels like an afternoon or night out at a party!” says Megan. “We expect about 100 people, and everyone is excited to be there. The energy level is high.”

The tickets are $40 through April 27th, and $50 at the door. Each ticket gets you a Crown City Crawl bracelet, a commemorative beer koozie, three drink tickets, bar bingo game cards and drink specials at each stop.

“New to this year is the idea of checking into a location (VFW) and we’ll have games like corn hole and flip cup set up to play,” says Megan. “We’ll also do the raffle before we head off to the second stop.”

Up for grabs at this year’s raffle include some awesome prizes…facials by Natalie Falletta Skincare, acupuncture, gift cards to local restaurants, a month of free gym membership, a Concert in the Park package from Coronado Hardware, and lots more.

“And we will be playing Bar Bingo at each location which definitely gets the crowd going!”
